My name is Nicola Maund and I am a UK based photographer. I graduated at the University of Creative Arts, where I studied BA (hons) Photography and Media Arts. I specialise in Freelance Photography, shooting weddings, children, special events and much more.
For me photography is a spiritual act and I am passionate about capturing the special moments that will remain in your hearts for eternity.
I love to capture the natural moments of couples laughing, kissing, crying and looking at one another in a way that tells a story within every photograph. I like to capture love on the lens in a way that inspires my clients.
I also love children and enjoy capturing their most characteristic moments, as well as their beautiful smiles and poses. I enjoy meeting new families and creating memories which they will hold dearly.
I am an extremely energetic, quirky and friendly individual who will make you feel relaxed and content the moment you meet me. I am down to earth, laid back (but not to much) and very easy to build a connection with.

I specialise within black and white photography, as well as the supernatural style of photography. My aim within each of my photograph's is to capture mystery for my viewers. I enjoy using long exposure techniques to intervene with the outcomes of my images and challenge the viewers mind and perception.
For me photography is a spiritual act, it is an inner desire to abstract essence beyond the material world. I'm interested in something which is built up from within the soul and mind, rather than just capturing a superficial image.
